25:4. শেষ পর্য়ন্ত নবূখদ্নিত্সরের সেনাবাহিনী শহরের প্রাচীর ভেঙে ভেতরে ঢুকে পড়লে, সে রাতেই বাগানের গুপ্তপথের ফাঁপা দেওয়ালের মধ্যে দিয়ে রাজা সিদিকিয় ও তাঁর সেনাবাহিনীর লোকরা পালিয়ে যায়| যদিও শএুপক্ষের সেনাবাহিনী সারা শহর ঘিরে রেখেছিল, কিন্তু তবুও সিদিকিয় ও তাঁর পার্শ্বচররা মরুভূমির পথে পালিয়ে য়েতে সক্ষম হন|

25:4. The enemy broke through the city walls, and all the soldiers tried to escape. They left the city during the night. They went through the gate between the two walls that is near the king's garden. (The Babylonians were all around the city.) Then they headed for the Jordan Valley.
